Rationale
This page attempts to group together various features that were present in the past versions and are missing now or that are often requested by customers/partners/support. This is in order to provide comprehensive overview on one side and to allow tackling all those issues in concise manner as single dev bundle if possible.
Issues
Missing functionality previously existing in Magnolia 4.x:
- On-the-fly logging level customisation (Tools/Logging)
- Detailed user permission listing (including those inherited via groups/roles over multiple levels)
- Detailed log from activation including timing and responsiveness of various subscribers
- Dependency graph
New Functionality requested by client developers, partners and support
- Detailed configuration info (partly present also in 4.x)
- Possibility to report issue from the instance (incl. prefill of configuration)
- Detailed logging of filter chain performance
