Keep content relevant

This is the Magnolia CMS wiki, and while we love hearing about suggestions for great new pizza toppings etc., we'd rather we limit the scope of this particular wiki to Magnolia CMS. By all means include scripts, templates, installation instructions, and anything else that might prove useful for someone using Magnolia CMS.

Search first, add later

If you are about to add a page, good practice is to check to see if the page (or a similar page) already exists. Use the search option in the top right corner of the page. When you are sure that the topic has not been covered off, feel free to add a page or comment.

Remember:

• Duplication of information in different locations across the wiki can lead to confusion; not to mention difficulties in keeping information up to date.
• Repeating things in different places on the wiki makes it hard to know what is correct; furthermore, information might end up being updated in one location and not in the other.
• Multiple instances of very similar content stored on different pages on the wiki makes it hard to ensure consistency of content and to keep track of things.

This is a place to share knowledge and ideas. Please use the user mailing list for questions in relation to Magnolia CMS. Specific questions about specific topics in the wiki are welcome in the comments section for that topic.
