Comment: DOCU-1990

Magnolia's default installation in the cloud configures a virtual URI mapping in the public space of every environment to redirect from / to home. When using custom (multi)site configurations, you should delete change this redirection in public spaces, otherwise the site configurations will not work correctly.

The mapping to be deleted updated is on the /modules/magnolia-now-configurationsample/virtualURIMapping/default node.

Info

By default, the AdminCentral of a public instance is not accessible due to security reasons.

To be able to access it in the Live environment and update the redirection configuration, you need to obtain access rights. Yo can ask for them via the HD portal.

We Since it is difficult to access the AdminCentral of the public space, and since a public space can have more than one instance, we recommend the following procedure:

  1. Login to the AdminCentral of the author space and use public instance.
  2. In the Configuration app to navigate to the update the value of this property:
    /modules/magnolia-now-configuration node.

    The initial state:

    Advanced Tables - Table Plus
    heading0
    multiplefalse
    enableHeadingAttributesfalse
    enableSortingfalse
    classm5-configuration-tree

    Mgnl f
    modules

    Mgnl f
    magnolia-now-configuration

    Mgnl p
    version

Add a folder named virtualURIMapping :

    Advanced Tables - Table Plus
    heading0
    multiplefalse
    enableHeadingAttributesfalse
    enableSortingfalse
    classm5-configuration-tree
