If you want to access Magnolia 6.0 via the legacy 5.x UI, append the -m5 suffix to admincentral in the URL of the instance. For example:

  • http://localhost:8080/magnoliaAuthor/.magnolia/admincentral-m5
  • http://localhost:8080/magnoliaAuthor/.magnolia/admincentral-m5#app:configuration:browser;/:treeview

This is a useful workaround if you experience display issues with your custom apps.

(warning) Note that this legacy UI mode is not fully functional and will not be supported indefinitely. Let us please know how we can improve the UI of Magnolia 6.0 so that any issue is fixed properly.
