If you want to access Magnolia 6.0 with via the legacy 5.x look and feel, add a UI, append the -m5 suffix to your instance URL admincentral in the URL of the instance. For example:

  • http://localhost:8080/magnoliaAuthor/.magnolia/admincentral-m5
  • http://localhost:8080/magnoliaAuthor/.magnolia/admincentral-m5#app:configuration:browser;/:treeview:

This is a useful workaround if you have experience display issues with your custom apps for example.

(warning) Note that this legacy UI mode is not fully functional and will not be supported indefinitely. Please make sure you let Let us please know how we can improve the UI of Magnolia 6.0 UI so that we can fix any issues any issue is fixed properly.
