Publishing vs Activation and custom commands

The release of Magnolia 5.6 branch brings also the new Publishing (see the module(s) (see magnolia-publishing-pack on nexus) intended as a replacement for to replace the Activation module ( /modules/activation ) and the Transactional Activation module ( /modules/exchange-transactional transactional ). The new Publishing module pack brings Apart from giving a more logical order to the publishing actions. functions in Magnolia the module pack also:

• Adds a possibility to clean the mgnlSystem workspace on the public instances.
• Sets all workspaces as publishable by default.

If you wish you may continue using the original Activation modules.
