The Tags app is a central place to manage content tags – keywords or terms assigned to a piece of content, see Content tagging. In AdminCentral, the app is accessible in the TOOLS group.
Info |
---|
The Tags app manages content tags, which are different from the marketing tags . Marketing tags are advertizing or analytics code snippets that you insert on Web pages. Marketing tags are managed using the Marketing Tags app. |
The Tags app is based on the small app concept. The Tools app group that this app belongs to is only available to the superuser
role. The app is installed by the Content Tags Module and is configured at Configuration > /modules/content-tags
.
The app has two subapps:
tags
workspace:Tag searching.
The search is case-insensitive, forward-looking and the its logic is applied not to the actual name of a tag, but to its node representation in the JCR repository's tags
workspace. Thus, having defined the history
and History
tags, the following may occur:
Search word | Returned result(s) | |||
---|---|---|---|---|
Name column | Path column | |||
history | |
| ||
History | | /h/hi/history /h/hi/History | ||
hi | | /h/hi/history /h/hi/History /h/hi | ||
h |

hi | /h/hi/history /h/hi/History /h /h/hi | ||
/h |
h | /h | ||
/hi | <no results>* | |||
story | <no results> |
* Zero results even in the Path column beacuse no path beginning with /hi
exists.
